The location was stunning and great for exploring this local area, near to the ski slopes, the center, and the restaurants. And it's within a close distance from Restaurant Vanatorul, ate there once or twice;)))

Beautiful hotel high up in the mountains, very very stunning and peaceful. Far away from city life. Highly recommended. Please note that hotel is 3 hour journey from bucharest airport and it was hard and expensive to get there and back.
The hotel should really have shuttle service to pick up and drop off guests to and from the airport at reasonable rates.

Breakfast offers variety and nice food; nice view from the room; relatively recently refurbished, so it offers decent accommodation
They mention shuttle on the site, but when we wanted to get the shuttle to go to the slope, we were told by the receptionist that the shuttle had an accident a month ago and it is being repared. However, the shuttle was covered in snow, in front of the hotel! when i asked the receptionist how do i get to the slope, he told me by my car. I asked for a taxi (on their expense), and the manager came to tell me that the shuttle was not free anyway! where have you seen a shuttle from the hotel offered to go the slope that you have to pay for? and if it was not free, why does the website not say anything about the price? the manager was arogant, and the other receptionist advised us to drive to the slope, specifically that there are parking places. Of course we drove to find out that there were no parking spots whatsoever, and to get stuck in the traffic for half an hour, and to be forced to park in a carpark very close to the hotel (walking distance), for which we had to pay. we wasted on this more than an hour, from our skiing time!! The next day we asked the receptionist to order a taxi, and he told me he does, but we have to wait until he comes from Brasov (the city 12km away), when i had seen plenty of taxis in the resort!!! so serivce and telling the truth is not their strength!

Excellent value for money. Could walk all over Poiana Brasov from there. Great bartender.
No complaints really but it is a long walk to the lifts in ski boots. Of course, they do have a shuttle but it was broken.

Quite a nice place but not spectacular. The room is not so big but it has a nice balcony. The furniture and the decorations are quite outdated yet comfortable. It seemed to me that the ground floor including the reception and the restaurant was newly renovated. I liked the idea of a mini-bar infront of the reception desk and also the idea of a shuttle bus from the hotel to the ski path.
The hotel is located at the end of the city, and almost everyone had 2-3 kids.
